The double (50-34/52-36/54-38T) replaces a 2x chainring set on Shimano 12-speed cranks. The single (42–58T) is for 1x single-speed setups with no front derailleur.

The double is designed for Shimano 12-speed cranksets and includes decorative covers for Shimano original cranks. Confirm your crank model with us if unsure.

Yes — adjust the front derailleur to Shimano’s spec, and use a new chain (or fully lubricate the existing one). The smaller ring is not for use with third-party accessories.
